Was Medica, Med. Dept. Columbian College, 1844-91 o^^^ of thefounders of the Washington Infirmary ; member of Board of Aldermen,Georgetown, and of Council of Territorial Government, D. He taught physicians how to collectaccounts for services from a certain class of delinquent clients by takingtheir notes for the amount, and renewing them annually thereafter, withthe addition of the interest accrued, until it was paid either by the draweror his estate.
