Houses of Parliament, part of the roof structure under renovation and repair work, Palace of Westminster, London, England, UK MPs are to vacate the Houses of Parliament for at least six years to allow essential repairs to be carried out. Under the plans peers and MPs will have to relocate between 2022 and 2028. The Prime Minister is set to endorse the recommendation by MPs on a restoration committee to relocate. It would be the first time MPs have moved out since bombing in the Second World War.
