Penglipuran Village is a tourist attraction based on the location being a model cultural village, with traditional architecture based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy of the three causes of well being regarding the balance of relations between God, humans and their environment. The tourists tend to walk up and down the main street and venture into the various living museums along it. There was no pressure to buy during our visit, unusual for a high profile attraction like this.
