Amorphophallus titanum, known as the titan arum, is a flowering plant with the largest unbranched inflorescence in the world. The titan arum grows in the wild only in the equatorial rainforests of Sumatra, Indonesia. In cultivation, the titan arum generally requires 7–10 years of vegetative growth before blooming for the first time. Flowers can reach a height of 3 metres. This plant is in the Eden Project, Cornwall.
