Chinese banknotes have been dropped into a donation box to help save the lives of Giant Pandas, an endangered species in its homeland of central China. An estimated 1,800 panda bears live there in the wild, while about 300 more of these cute black-and-white animals are in Chinese breeding centers and zoos worldwide. This glass-fronted money collection box is at the entrance to a museum in Yantai, a city in Shandong Province in the People's Republic of China (PRC).
