Pkt., 5c; oz., ioc; X lb., 30c; lb., Bay View — Fruit of large size, frequently 16 to 18 inches long, and will ripen up finely if picked quite green, making it one of the best for shipping long distances, and this combined with its great beauty, makes the variety a favorite with market gardeners. The skin is of a delicate straw color; the flesh is quite thick and blends from a bright green to a rich salmon in color, making a fine and striking contrast.
