Soviet heavy tank IS-2 commonly known as the Pink Tank painted pink by Czech visual artist David Černý on display on the Military Technical Museum (Vojenské technickém muzeum) in Lešany, Czech Republic. The tank formerly known as No 23 used to be the Monument to Soviet Tank Crews in Prague, Czechoslovakia. It was controversially painted pink by art student David Černý and friends in April 1991 and later moved to the museum. The model IS-2 was named after Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin.
