The human eye is made of three main parts; the lens, the iris and the retina. When working correctly, all three combined with the human brain allow for human vision. The retina allows the light imformation captured to be translated into signals for the brain to interpret. The lens, combined with muscles in the eye, is used for focusing, problems with it can generally be corrected through wearing glasses. The iris is used to control the amount of light entering the eye and falling on the retina.
