Spherical Fairway Marker Buoy
A 3rd Class Spherical Fairway Marker Buoy which used to be positioned 2 miles off Rye in East Sussex. The marker indicated the safe anchoring position for cargo ships carrying timber and aggregates. Placed in 1971, it was replaced by Trinity House in 2005.
