The World's Largest Aloe Statue, House of Aloes, Albertinia, Near Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa. This amazingly lifelike statue was sculpted by Dirk van Wyk (deceased March 2010) and Francois de Wet and was completed on 24th September 2010. It weighs 2,500 Kg, stands 9m tall and took approximately 8,800 man hours to complete.
