It is very difficult to express this difference appreciably; but a coni- parisoa of large series from the two localities will readily illustrate the fact as will the figures cited in B. N. A. Mr. Sclater calls attention to the inferiority of size of his speci- mens from Oaxaca; this might be anticipated from their southern locality as resident birds.
