Head moderate; snout rather pointed ; interorbital space two thirds the width of the upper eyelid ; tympanum distinct, two thirds the size of the eye. Fingers moderate, first extending much beyond second ; toes moderate, nearly entirely webbed; subarticular tubercles of fingers and toes very prominent; inner metatarsal tubercle oval, compressed, hardly half as long as the first toe ; a small, rounded, outer metatarsal tubercle. The hind limb being carried forwards along the body, the tibio-tarsal articulation reaches the tip of the snout. Upper parts with numerous very prominent warts and short glandular folds. Grey or brown above, darker spotted ; hinder side of thighs black, white-marbled; sometimes a broad light vertebral stripe. Male with two internal vocal sacs. Malabar. a, b-d.
