SEjr (Captaln-VaLI <&nmt On Thanksgiving morning we were all very much excited about thecaptain-ball game. The game was to begin at nine oclock, but bothteams and most of the onlookers were at the gym at eight-forty-five-To distinguish the two teams, the Academy girls wore gold bands aroundtheir heads and the College girls wore maroon bands and ties. Bothteams had fine yells and splendid cheer-leaders. The College cheer-leaderwas Margery Graham and the Academy cheer-leaders were PercyDubois and Margaret Sayers. The game started with quick action, which continued throughoutthe four quarters. In the first half the College team took the lead,scoring 5 to the Academys 4, Between quarters the College orchestraand numerous yells inspired the teams to play their best. ^ Severalchanges in players were made when the teams took their positions forthe second half. The teams played fast and well, and when the whistleblew, the final score was 6-5 in the Academys favo
