Horsetail is a plant herb and the above ground parts are used for medicine. Used for “fluid retention” oedema, kidney and bladder stones, urinary tract infections, the inability to control urination (incontinence), along with general disturbances of the kidney and bladder. A source of silicon for herbalists.
