Octagonal barrel, becoming round after a cut baluster with a lightly swamped muzzle in 19 mm calibre, and several gold-filled marks and a silver inlaid signature on the breech. Cut percussion lock, the lockplate inscribed "Aragon". Dark, typically shaped, half stock with a long belt hook on the left side. Iron and silver furniture. The trigger guard also bears a gold-filled mark. Wooden ramrod with brass tip.
