Pot of incense. Incense consists of a mix of resins from the incense bush (Boswellia sp.). When burnt a fragrant smell is released, and this is used in herbal medicine to aid relaxation and promote general well-being. Herbal Boswellia has been shown to have natural anti-inflammatory properties. This has led to its use in treating arthritis. Photographed in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
