Maria is wearing a dress with a round neck that seems to go under her feet and gives her a slightly floating posture. A mantle hangs from the shoulders down to the floor over the rug, her veil has slipped off the head and wraps around her hair by the neck. Elisabeth has put her cloak around her waist, wears a child's cloth and a high-sitting headdress, around which the headscarf, which is fastened by a band, is wrapped around, a point of which has been flared. The gate shows tilting and a blind window tracking on one side. There are some trees in the rocky, grass-covered landscape, for the fence a switch, a plank placed at right angles, Mary and Elisabeth, both pregnant, embracing, 's-Hertogenbosch, Adriaen van Wesel, Utrecht, c. 1475 - c. 1477, oak (wood), h 52 cm × w cm × d cm
