ISTANBUL, Turkey (Nov. 13, 2014) - USS Ross (DDG 71) prepares to depart Istanbul, Turkey Nov. 13, after taking part in a scheduled port visit. Ross, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer forward-deployed out of Rota, Spain, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
