One of the most beautiful sights of Kayseri, is the Bedesten, the old covered market, constructed on 1497. It is attached to the much bigger and newer, Covered Market ("Kapali Carsi")of Kayseri, a real labyrinth, which is the fourth largest covered market in Turkey. Inside the Bedesten you will mostly see carpet and kilim shops, and also some wool warehouses.
