The Watershed Initiative, part of the Wild Horse Creek Riparian Resilience Project Phase I in Wild Horse Creek, Montana is joint project between The Nature Conservancy, BLM, and The Blackfoot Challenge. they are building beaver dam analogs (BDA) and planting willow seedling to slow water and recreate previous natural water flows. Hope is that once willows are big enough, beavers will recolonize the area.
