A residential block of single-family homes in the working class neighborhood of Pullman. The neighborhood is named after George Pullman who created a stand-alone community for workers staffing the Pullman factory that manufactured railroad sleeper cars for decades out of the location on the extreme South Side of Chicago. The homes continue to occupied by working class families and are now a part of the Pullman Historic District though the factory now longer produes any product.
