Italy Abruzzo Teramo Roman amphitheater and theater The Roman amphitheater in Teramo is only a few meters west from the Roman theater, the most obvious part of the remaining brick perimeter wall of the amphitheater is visible on Via San Berardo and the area immediately to the left of the Cathedral. The plant was in the shape of an ellipse with a perimeter of 208 meters, 74 meters measured the major axis and minor axis of 56 meters. The old floor is located 6 meters from the current street level. In the perimeter wall are identified as different accesses the arc on the minor axis of the ellipse and the one with three arches side by side along the major axis. A series of sub-steps led directly to the bleachers for the audience, of which no trace remains radial.
