The magazine was formerly published under the title The Pictorial missionary news edited by Henry Grattan Guinness (1835 - 1910) who was an Irish Protestant Christian preacher, evangelist and author (and others). This picture shows the Rhenish Mission Station for the Dyaks at Telang (Bone, Sulawesi / Celebes , Selatan, Indonesia). Dayaks also known as Dyak or Dayuh are one of the native groups of Borneo.
