Vertigo inducing view on Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.

A view of Carrick Island on the North Antrim coast. This rocky island is linked to the North Antrim mainland by the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. Carrick island was used by local fishermen for several hundred years and they installed a precarious rope bridge 30 metres above the waves. Eventually crossing the bridge became an adventurous outing for day trippers and tourists consequently the rope bridge has been upgraded to a sturdier construction than it once was.
