Wasington State Ferry, Kalakala, 1959. Vintage postcard showing a view of the ferry on Puget Sound. The 'Kalakala' operated in Puget Sound from 1935 until 1967. The vessel had a unique streamlined superstructure and Art Deco styling. At the 1962 World's Fair held at Seattle she was voted the second most popular attraction after the Space Needle.
