On this particular January evening as I was standing at the shore of Mono Lake in California, USA, I was struck by the reflections of the ridges across the water which was dead still. With my telephoto lens I selected this composition for its balance and symmetry. The lines and layers created by the subtle but distinct tones results in a simple but striking image.
