An engraved brass dish with a broad rim, North German or Dutch, circa 1720. Finely hammered brass dish. High quality acanthus vine engraving all around the rim, enclosing three circular cartouches with landscape portrayals. Small hole at the rim, along with a ring soldered on the back, for hanging. Diameter 28 cm. Presumably, an engraver's masterpiece.
