1870s, 19th century botanical engraving / illustration of Virginia Tobacco plant (Nicotiana tabacum) - used as medicinal plant. See Notes.

Image from an old botanical source from the 1870s (The National Encyclopedia, Pub. by William McKenzie of London). This is probably out of copyright, but if you want to use in a commercial project then it would be worth doing due pages were foxed (ie. yellowed, or in some cases the paper actually orange with age). A large part of this has been removed through saturation channels, while the white levels have been pushed to reduce ultra-visible ink print-through. So, there is a bit of print-through still visible - if brightness & channels are pushed to their limits, along with the paper pulp patina. Turning into a 2-colour H/C image should clear that, while there is also the option of flood filling with white. There has also been a digital clean-up of the most offending ink spots and page damage.
