Ragwort or Senecio jacobaea

Common Ragwort or Senecio jacobaea is a native wild flower found on open ground, in fields and hedgerows. It has attractive gold and yellow daisy like flowers and is a source of food for a number of insects but is considered an invasive nuisance because it is toxic to horses if it is cut with the hay.
