Trees felled due to Ash Dieback on the old railway track, now the Ravenstonedale and Smardale walk, seen here at Smardale, Cumbria. The trail runs along the old Stainmore railway line through a nature reserve and over the spectacular Smardale Gill Viaduct. The trail and nature reserve is managed by Cumbria Wildlife Trust.
