The death of the wizard, Dr. Lambe, in 1640, stoned by a mob at St. Paul's Cross, London. For failing to punish the ringerleaders of this riot, the King, Charles I, fined the City of London 600 pounds. Lambe's servant was the witch, Anne Bodenham.
