A pair of silver-mounted percussion pistols for officers, Guerin, Paris, circa 1780 Faceted two-stage screw-barrels in 15 mm calibre, round and smooth after a chiselled girdle, with cannon muzzles. Converted, florally engraved, iron lock housings, each with signature "Guerin", on the sides opposite the locks inscribed "Ou Corps del Carabiniera". Florally carved walnut butts with silver furnitures, the butt caps each with French fleur-de-lys amid laurel branches in relief.
