Long-snout sea horse full body. Sea horses are filigree bony fish that trying to fit in their environment using camouflage. This species can grow to a size of 15cm. Once sea horses find a partner they stay together for the rest of their life. When sea horses mate they conduct a pair “dance” whereby the female transfers the eggs into the male's breeding pouch to be fertilized and carried out. Sea horses are highly endangered through anthropogenic impacts like pollution and habitat degradation.
