Walchia is a now extinct conifer, a genus of pinaceous trees that resemble araucarias, notably cypresses. They were widespread in upper Carboniferous and lower Permian periods, and surviving into the lower Triassic period. Fossil remains are found in Europe as well as North America, displaying short spirally arranged falcate leaves and ovate cones. Fossil remains of the trunk or parts thereof are also found.
