People gathered at the Paul-Löbe-Haus in front of the Reichstag (German Parliament Building) to demand equal rights for all people and the right to remain. The first international Romani Day took place in 1971 and the annual event is marked around Europe to celebrate Romani culture and raise awareness of the situation of Roma & Sinti and human rights issues they face.
