The Iguazú Falls (in Portuguese: Iguaçu Falls), popularly called in Argentina as «Cataratas»; they are a group of waterfalls that are located on the Iguazú river, on the border between the province of Misiones and the Brazilian state of Paraná. They are fully inserted in protected areas; Argentina's sector is within the Iguazú National Park, while Brazil's is in the Iguaçu National Park.
