Lichfield Cathedral showing the three spires. View with Remembrance Garden and Minster Pool, created out of the dammed Trunkfield Brook and the Leamonsley Brook. The sandstone Cathedral was originally founded in 700 AD, and the present building begun in 1195 and built during the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Restored after damage in the Civil War.
