This is a one of a series of fourteen (14) images where flowers are depicted in an abstract kind of way where mood is emphasized over the natural state of each flower. The point in the series was to use images of flowers to create a mood or illuminate a concept, rather than give the viewer an actual, realistic, representation of the flower. Similar to how the Impressionist painters in the 1880's, focused on the light in each painting rather than the object of the paintings themselves.
