Just beyond the finish line Noah Droddy of the United States received assistance among other distressed athletes at the Chicago Marathon after completing the course with a time of 2:11:42 and finishing 17th overall. The Chicago Marathon is one of the world's six major marathon events annually joining the Boston, London, Berlin Tokyo and New York races.
