Tigercat Feller Buncher harvesting Hybrid Poplar trees, 1st morning light, mid October, 'Populus deltoides x Populus nigra'. Generally the trees are divided up and go to four markets. The large end goes to the sawmill for boards. The next smaller goes to veneer for plywood. Next is chips for pulp & paper. The tops, branches and bark go for energy.
