German Minister Guido Westerwelle welcomes his Georgian counterpart Maja Panjikidze. They talk about the situation in Georgia and the region as well as the deepening of relations with the EU are. Germany is in the European Neighbourhood Policy for a rapprochement between Georgia and Europe. The country is part of the EU's Eastern Partnership and is negotiating with the European Union since 2010 on an association agreement.
