Hance Rapids is one of the most challenging rapids along the Colorado River deep within Grand Canyon National Park. You’ll find challenging whitewater and a preview of all the adventures to come as you raft these exciting Grand Canyon waters. Hance Rapids are Class 7 to 8 rapids on the Colorado River at the bottom of Grand Canyon. The rocks under these waters create powerful hydraulics. Within the inner canyon these waters provide a true adventure, with the colorful canyon walls and much beauty surrounding.
