Arches of the Lambley Viaduct a bridge over the South Tyne river in Northumberland


Lambley Viaduct crossing the river South Tyne in Northumberland. The structure which carried the Haltwhistle to Alston railway is approximately 260m end to end and was operational from 1852 to 1976, The viaduct now forms part of the South Tyne Trail and is under the management of the North Pennine Heritage Trust.
