On the whole my spe- cimens correspond very well with those collected in Cyprus by KoTscHT and Sintenis, which I have had opportunity to see in the Herb. Boiss., resp. Herb. How- ever, the parallel hairiness, emphasized by Celakovsky, is less distinct than in the spe- cimens of Sintenis, upon which he has worked out his descrip- tion, and the whole plant is, probably owing- to the exposed growing-place, lower aud more intricately branched. But still it seems to me probable, that all Cyprian specimens must be referred to the same subspecies. Dry sterile fields. Be- tween Morphu and Hag.
