Leopard (Panthera pardus). This big cat hunts small prey such as antelopes and hares, primarily by stealth. It stalks its prey and creeps up to within a few metres before pouncing. The leopard moves with agility in trees and will often drag its kill up into the branches before feeding. Photographed in Etosha National Park, Namibia.
