Along with the Battle Boars, the 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment “Desert Rogues,” were re-assigned to the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team. The ceremony marks one of the final steps taken to inactivate the 2nd ABCT, slated to take place in January. It is also the last time that the brigade, in this configuration, will stand together as a complete unit. ( Army Photo by Staff Sgt.
