Technicians from the NASA contractor Rockwell International repairing a thermal protection tile on the rim of the space shuttle Columbia's windows. The woman (left) repairs the tile (of the type bonded to a plate that is screwed onto the orbiter), while the man shines a flashlight onto damaged area. The work was carried out in readiness for the STS-4 shuttle mission.
