Guardian Elephant, Plaza Viña del Mar, Sausalito, California


The guardian elephants were created by McKim, Mead and White for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco in 1915. They were relocated to Sausalito when the fair closed. They were recast in concrete in 1935.
