San Village. Making fire the old fashioned way.

A San hunter, with the help of an elderly San woman, makes fire by rotating a stick in a groove to make lighted embers to set alight dry grass. The Living Museum of the Ju/'Hoansi-San was initiated by the Namibian tour guide Werner Pfeifer and the teacher Ghau N!aici from Grashoek. Since July 2004 the ju/'Hoansi have run the museum completely on their own.
