Each year the War Widows Association of Great Britain holds an act of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Whitehall London to remember and honour their lost loved ones There are widows from conflicts from the second world war to the wars in iraq and afghanistan Everyone wears a red poppy which is the symbol of remembrance
